WILLIAM ERIC "BILLY" NICHOLS, 55, of Otto, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at home. He was born December 6, 1964 in Ripley, West Virginia. He was owner and operator of his trucking company for the last 20 years and formerly worked in the oil field. Billy is survived by his wife, Marsha Nichols; son, Travis Nichols; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Swank Cemetery in Speed, West Virginia, with Preacher Jerry Saunders, Jr. officiating. There will be a walk through visitation from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is mandated by the Governor and the CDC that proper facial coverings be worn and that social distancing be observed.
