Wilbur Leon Starcher, 77, of Spencer, WV passed away August 21, 2021 at Miletree Center in Spencer.

He was born March 26, 1944 in Spencer, WV and was the son of the late Gay and Roxy Pearl Batten Starcher.

Wilbur worked for Smith Concrete as a truck driver and Roane County EMS. He enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Holly and Joe Starcher; and sister, Vada Waggoner.

Left behind to cherish his memory, is his wife, Margaret Ruth Collins Starcher of Spencer; four children, Angie Starcher of Spencer, Stephen Paul Starcher of Spencer, James Leon  Starcher (Carole) of Mechanicsville, VA, Robert Noel Starcher (Veronica) of Ripley, WV; grandchildren, Caleb Starcher (Brook) of Parkersburg, WV, Zachary Starcher of Spencer, Tristan and Savera Starcher both of Mechanicsville, VA, Alexander, Kaitlyn, Mary, Emily and James Starcher all of Ripley, WV; and sister, Margaret Ann Bush (George) of Billings, WV.

There will be no services at this time.
