Vonda June Harold, 81, of Reedy, WV passed away on December 18, 2016 in Ripley WV surrounded by her family. Vonda is preceded in death by her late husband, Garnard E. Harold, and her only child, Calvin E. Harold. She is survived by her two grandchildren Julie Harold and Shaun Harold, both of Williamstown, WV, two great-grandchildren Elijah and Sailor Boyer of Williamstown, WV, as well as daughter-in-law Marie Harold-Work and Bill Work, also of Williamstown, WV. Vonda was full of life and laughter up until her final moments. She was a caring grandmother, neighbor, and friend. At the age of 15 she ran a deli in Spencer, WV and carried the love of cooking throughout her life, especially that famous fudge. She enjoyed the outdoors, shopping, and playing cards, and her family more than anything. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, WV with a gathering of friends and family from 11-1pm and a 1pm service to immediately follow. She will rest in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Eldercare of West Virginia located in Ripley for their compassionate care.
