Virginia Lea Callow 90, of Spencer, died July 13, 2025, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 7, 1935 at Linden, WV, a daughter of the late Haymond N West and Lizzie E Young West Nichols.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ray C Jarvis, sister Jessie Holcomb, brother Maxel West, her husband, Earl Eugene Waggoner and step-father E Poe Nichols.

Virginia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Jarvis and William Nichols of Spencer, and grandsons, Daniel Jarvis of Louisville, Ky and Jeffrey Jarvis of Bowling Green, Ky and Ray C Jarvis. Step-daughters, Tammy Goodrich and Nannette Copen of Spencer, Darlene Roberts of West Jordan, UT and Cindy Brooks of Franklin, Va. Nieces, Dorisa West of Sissonville, Angela Hunter and Lisa West of Sarasota, Fl. Nephews, Max West of Ripley, Doug Holcomb, Richard Holcomb and Joe Holcomb of Louisville, Ky. Step-brothers, Fred Nichols and Don Nichols of Hartville, Oh. A very special great-niece Aprill Kesterson of Louisville, Ky, and special family members, TL and Pat Kesterson of Louisville, Ky.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 1 pm with the Rev Phillip Linger officiating, at The Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, 206 Beauty St, Spencer, WV. Burial will take place in The Clover Cemetery at a later date.
