Violet Irene Nichols, 87, of Spencer was born April 6, 1934 went to be with Jesus on Thursday, April 22, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. There she was reunited with her husband William Dexter Nichols, daughter Debra Lynn Gray and parents Okey Lee "Fuzzy" and Opal "Sugar" Shreve.

She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children Mike (Sherrie) Nichols and Sherrie (Randy) Burgess, son in law Paul Gray, "adopted son" Dewayne Cox along with her six grandchildren; Bo (Ashley) Burgess, Corey (Cassie) Burgess, Micah (Jimmy) Casdorph, Leah (Chris) James, Jared (Crissy) Gray, Justin (Melody) Gray and her eleven great "grandbabies" Nate, Nick, Nolan Burgess, Tucker, Hallie, Barrett Burgess, Addy, Caleb Casdorph, Audrie James, Addy Gray and Lilly Gray.

Services will be 2:00 PM~ Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Taylor Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of the service. Pastors Bo Burgess, Jimmy Casdorph and Justin Simmons will be officiating. Burial will follow at Eventide Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Kanawha Hospice at 1606 Kanawha Blvd., West Charleston, WV 25387-2536.
