THOMAS M. "TOM" PARRILL, JR., 73, of Evans, West Virginia, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, West Virginia. He was born November 7, 1943 in Bridgeport, West Virginia, a son of the late Thomas Parrill, Sr. and Georgia Bower Parrill. He was in the car dealership business for 39 years, a pilot, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the First Baptist Church of Spencer, and loved to travel where he had been in 35 countries. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Groves Parrill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Gerardo Lopez of Clarksburg, West Virginia and Lisa and John Onestinghel of Vienna, West Virginia; a sister, Marilyn Hess of Bridgeport; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Jones. Services will be held at noon on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with the burial following in the Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport. Visiting will be two hours prior to the service on Friday.
