TIMOTHY ROY NICHOLS, 67, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at his home.
He was born July 16, 1957 in Roane County, a son of the late Roy Ray and Vernace Ashworth Nichols.  He was retired from T.C. Energy (formerly Columbia Gas), attended the Walton Union Church, and loved his church and family, especially his grandchildren and fur babies.
Tim is survived by his daughters, Shannon (Eric) Harper and Shelly Osborne, all of Gandeeville, West Virginia; sisters, Diana Walton of Spencer, West Virginia, Sandy (Delmas) Walker and Sally Anderson, all of Walton, and Sheila (Bob) Voelker of Baltimore, Maryland;  brothers, Teddy (Connie) Nichols of Elizabeth, West Virginia and Leon Slack of Pennsacola, Florida; grandchildren, Aarron (Bethany) Hartley who was raised as a son, and Hannah and Nathan Osborne;  great-grandson, Cooper Hartley: and sisters-in-law, Stella Nichols of Spencer and Jan Nichols of Salina, Oklahoma.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Martha Nichols; brothers, Tony and Terry Nichols, sister, Betty Nichols;   brothers-in-law, Tom Nichols, Bill Walton, and David Anderson; and sister-in-law, Carol Slack.
Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with Pastor Mike Todorovich officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gandeeville Cemetery.  Visiting will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
