SUE MILLER HARPER, 77, of Spencer, West Virginia passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, West Virginia. She was born October 7, 1941 at Peniel, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Aubrey and Myrtle Kelley Miller. She was a homemaker and an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. Sue is survived by her children, Bud and Angie Harper of Reedy, West Virginia, Jim and Sandy Harper of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, and Shannon and Benji Parsons of Spencer; her grandchildren, Jessie (John Caldwell) Hewitt, Chad (Maddie) Harper, Chelsey (Jim McClain) Rhodes, Layne Epling, Aubrey Epling, Justin (Maddie) Harper, Jared Harper, Donnie (Amber) Sloan, and Jeffrey (Melissa) Sloan; and her great-grandchildren, Austin (Beth) Sloan, Hailey Sloan, Brock, Bria, and Brissa Hewitt, Bryan Harper, and Emma Sloan, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Jean Harper. A private family service was held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial was in the Spencer Memorial Cemetery.
