STEPHEN WAYNE WHITED, 68, of Peniel, West Virginia passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia after a brief illness. He was born August 9, 1948 in Spencer, West Virginia a son of the late Guy and Ruby Randolph Whited. He was the grandson of the late James T. and Mary Riddle Whited and the late Granville Sherman and Dessie Mae Godbey Randolph. He was a member of Labor Union 1085. Steve is survived by his wife, Brenda Golden Whited; a daughter, Julie (Josh) Walsh of Martinsburg, West Virginia; and a son, Michael (Amy) Whited of Gay, West Virginia. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Madeline and Isabella Walsh and Chandler, Landan and Keira Whited. The family is honoring Steve's wishes that he be cremated with no services.
