Stephen Scott Stockner Sr., 72, of Spencer, WV went home to be with the Lord on May 9,2019. He is survived by his loving wife, Delores, of which they would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on May 15th. They were best friends and shared a very special bond. Also surviving is son Steve Jr.; daughter Penny, and a son Curtis; 2 daughters-in-law, 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother, step-father, and 2 sisters. Steve was a long-time member of the Steele Hollow Community Church. He loved playing music with his family and friends. He also wrote many songs which he enjoyed sharing with others. His guitar was always close by. His wishes were to be cremated and to have no service. There will be a special memorial to celebrate his life, at a later date, for family and friends. Taylor Vandale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
