Shirley Marlene (Bryant) Adkins, 76, of LeRoy, WV, passed away on August 8, 2026 at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley WV.

She was born March 10, 1950 in Queen Shoals, WV, a daughter of the late Marshall and Ernie (Evans) Bryant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenny, Elvin and Jack Bryant; daughters, Sharon and Crystal.

She was a former teachers aid with 13 years of service and enjoyed her flowers, pets and being surrounded by her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Darrell Bryant of Lizemore, WV; brothers, Toney, Richard, Ivan and Jimmy; sisters, Katie and Susie; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. ~ August 11, 2026 in Reynolds Cemetery, Gandeeville, WV with Josiah Smith officiating. Burial will follow the service.
