Sharon Ann Richards, 68, of Spencer, WV passed away January 23, 2024 at home after her 30-year battle of COPD.

Sharon was born December 1, 1955 in Spencer and was the daughter of the late Gene and Edna Mace Bowers.

She loved reading her Bible, feeding birds and wildlife, and doing puzzles on her computer. She was a homemaker and Christian, and had attended Harmony Baptist Church. She was so proud of her one and only grandson, Dakota and she loved him with all her heart.

She loved going to Roane General Hospital Pulmonary Rehab and visiting with her many friends when her health allowed. She was grateful for all her friends there.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Paul Richards of Spencer; daughter, Angela Dever (Philip) of Walton; and grandson, Dakota Dever of Walton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Bowers.

Per her request, she was an organ donor and will be cremated.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Droddy-Canterbury Cemetery.
