Ruth Ellen Rhodes, 75, of Gandeeville, WV passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 following a short illness. She was born July 7, 1945, daughter of the late Benjamin Ross and Elva Fields.

Ruth retired from Kellwood Company. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandsons were the light of her life.

Ruth is survived by son Gregory Rhodes and grandson Ian Newlon; son Jason (Alescia) Rhodes and grandsons Jace and Taegan Rhodes; brothers Charles Fields, Lowell Fields, Roy Fields and Roger Fields; sisters Joyce Evans, Ruby Anderson, Carolyn Myers, Bonnie Payne, Hazel Pantuk and Daisy Martinez.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Donnie Ray Rhodes; brothers William Carl Fields and Jimmy Fields, sisters Virginia Dare Fields and Barbara Shafer.

Services will be 11 A.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Gandeeville Cemetery in Gandeeville, WV.
