Russell Wolfe Hanshaw, 70, of Reedy, WV passed away May 24, 2021. He was born July 29, 1950 in Clay County, WV and was the son of the late Romie and Ruby Fitzwater Hanshaw.

Russell was retired from General Motors where he had worked for many years as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring old cars, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Gale Hanshaw and Jerri Metheney.

He was survived by his wife, Flista Hope Nelson Hanshaw of Reedy; four children, Rusty Ann Jennings of Sterling , OH, Richard Hanshaw (Daisy) of Wooster, OH, Kevin Hanshaw (Tracy) and Tawny Fisher (Bill) both of Orville, OH; 12 grandchildren; 5 great- grandchildren and one on the way; eight siblings, Diane Rucker, Bill Hanshaw, Bob Hanshaw, Merele Hooser, Ron Hanshaw, Debbie Higgins, Sheena Jarvis and Larry Hanshaw; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will take place at a later date.
