RONZEL PAUL NICHOLS, 76, of Gandeeville, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at home. He was born August 14, 1943 in Linden, West Virginia, a son of the late Paul and Dixie Lea Nichols. He was a retired construction worker, attended the Gandeeville Community Church, and was a member of the West Virginia National Guard. He is survived by his wife Pat Nichols; three daughters, Ramona Jean Halstead of Charleston, West Virginia, Tammy Lynn Barthelmess of Teays Valley, West Virginia, and Roni Nichols of Spencer, West Virginia ; five sisters, Kay Drake and Janet Sue Tanner, both of Harmony, West Virginia, Louise Whiting and Pauletta Ann Williams, both of Spencer, and Donna Marie Hall of Reedy, West Virginia; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Lee Summers; and two brothers, Allen Gene Nichols and Garry Leon Nichols. A graveside service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the Hebron Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Eastman officiating. There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
