Ronald "Ron" Wayne Looney, 76, of Walton, WV passed away July 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was born April 22, 1947 in Walton and was the son of the late Shirkey Looney and Nina Lowe Looney Barnhouse.

Ron was a carpenter by trade and had worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed animals, fishing, hunting and playing the mandolin.

Left behind to cherish his memory, is his wife, Vicky Joy Harper Looney of Walton; two daughters, April and Bridgett Looney both of Walton; son, Damon Looney (Tina) of Chloe, WV; seven sisters, Kathy Harper of Ohio, Carolyn Wolfe, Audrie Duff both from Charleston, WV, Ruth Eisenhower of Clendenin, WV, Cindy Smith, Connie and Nancy Barnhouse all of Cottontree, WV; six, grandchildren, Justin Sigmon of Walton, Kelsey Finchman of Charleston, WV, Raven Finchman of Pinch, WV; Dillon Finchman of Walton, Ethan and Miles Looney both of Chloe; three great-grandchildren, Clayton, Kylie and Carter Finchman all of Charleston; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant grandsons, Sean Sigmon and Cameron Finchman; five sisters, Wanda Keffer, Ermal Boyles, Virginia Batton, Betty Newhouse and Janice Smith; and two brothers, Clarence and Ted Looney.

There will be no services at this time for Ron.
