ROMIE LEE TAYLOR, 92, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia.
He was born December 14, 1930 in Kanawha County, a son of the late Jesse Willis and Nina Jane Newhouse Taylor.  He was a former house painter, a nightshift foreman at Kanawha Manufacturing, and a U. S. Navy veteran during the Korean War.
He is survived by his siblings, Sylvia Faye Cavender, Willie Edward (Peggy) Taylor, and Kermit Richard (Marilyn) Taylor;  a  sister-in-law, Judy Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arbutus Taylor; brothers, Ernest Denver and Fred Leon Taylor; sister-in-law, Dorothy Taylor; and a brother-in-law, Wilbur "Red" Cavender.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the Jackson Cemetery on Vineyard Ridge with Pastor Steve Arbogast officiating.  There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
