Roger Carl Fox, 72, of Spencer, WV went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2024 at Miletree in Spencer.

Roger was born October 21, 1951 in Spencer and is the son of Betty Greathouse Fox Raines of Ravenswood, WV and the Late Roy Clarence Fox.

Roger had profound love and cared very deeply for his daughter, Priscilla "Pooky;" and loved spending time with grandchildren and family. He was in the car dealing business and worked at Staats Pharmacy in Spencer for many years. He was a Christian and attended church at Spencer Tabernacle. He enjoyed riding horses, attending horse shows, working on cars, hunting and watching western movies.

Left behind to cherish his memory, are his daughters, Priscilla "Pooky" Greathouse (Jerod) of Looneyville, WV, Staci L. Gaughan (Joey) Elyria, OH and Traci L. Schmitt (Shawn) Elyria, OH; sons, Zach Shanks (Becky) of Spencer; Roger Steve Fox, Jr. Elyria, OH and Toby Robb of KY; grandchildren, Shadraq, Lillian, Hogan and Brynlea Greathouse, Braxton and Garrett Shanks, Roger C. Fox, III, Nicholas Fox, Joseph Gaughan, Ashley Cooper (Justin), Mindy Rush, Cassie Blankenship, Haley and Tory Schmitt; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Bill) Chapman of Spencer, Betty Jo Lemon of Belpre, Ohio, Sharon (John) Jones of Roseboro, North Carolina, Sheila (David) Bowen of Spencer, Joyce (Brian) Barker of Spencer, Pamela (Kevin) Davis of Ripley, Becky (Craig) Casto of Ripley, and April (Bob) Racy of Belpre; brothers, Bernard (Patty) Fox of Ravenswood, West Virginia, Mike (Susan) Fox of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, and Daniel Fox of Spencer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Bryn Powell; brothers, Roy "Egor" Fox, Jr and Brady Fox; and brothers-in-law, Alan Lemon, Tick Bowman and Tom Bowen.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. ~ Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Spencer Tabernacle located at 148 Summit Street Spencer, WV 25276.
