ROBERTA IRENE "ROBBIE" CONNER, of Spencer, West Virginia, formerly of Glenmont, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, West Virginia after a short illness. She was born December 24, 1944 in Elizabeth, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Theodore Lewis Woodring and Violet Nutter. She worked in several manufacturing plants in Ohio, was a Christian and a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army National Guard. She is survived by a daughter, Tara Conner of Millersburg, Ohio; a son, Tyson Conner and his wife Lisa of Big Prairie, Ohio; four sisters, Ruby, Retha, Rose, and Rebecca; two brothers, Rickshaw "Rick" and Robert "Bob"; and two grandsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel; and a brother-in-law, Marvin. Her body was cremated. A memorial service will take place at a later date in Ohio and her ashes will be buried there. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.
