Robert "Rock" Wayne Cottle, 63, of Reedy, WV passed away March 3, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.

Robert was born April 15, 1960 in Spencer and was the son of the late Kermit and Evelyn Woodyard Cottle.

Robert was a laborer and enjoyed mowing grass. He liked watching the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Reds; and loved Dale Earnhardt. Robert was a big man with a big heart and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Left behind to cherish his memory, is his sons, Joe Cottle of New Cumberland, WV, David Cottle (Crystal) of OH, Jonathan Stoops of Charleston, WV; daughter, Zoie Cottle of Vienna, WV; bonus children, Mary Hoskins (Eric) of Arnoldsburg, WV and (Tiffani Milam (CJ) of Ripley, WV; siblings, Kermit "David" Cottle of Reedy, Hazel Cottle Spencer and Roberta "Bobbi" Stoddard (Michael) of Madison, AL; four grandchildren, Adeline, Joshua and Gabriella Cottle and Nevaeh Stoops; and two nieces, Tenea Hunter (Heath) and Casey Stoddard (Braxton Babbidge) both of AL.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by his brother, Joe Cottle; and bonus daughter, Katelynn Stoops.

A private family gathering will take place at a later date at Board Cemetery in Reedy, WV.
