Ramona Ruth Lowery, 69, of Looneyville, WV formerly of Shreveport, LA passed away December 25, 2022 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.

She was born September 6, 1953 in Shreveport, LA and was the daughter of the late Verna May Dowden and Martin Clevenger, Sr.

Ramona had worked as an LPN for LSU Medical Center caring for mothers and babies. She attended Landmark Baptist Church in Looneyville, WV. Ramona enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, pottery, preserving and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish her memory, is her husband, James Paul Lowery of Looneyville; two daughters, Jennifer Lowery of Shreveport, LA and Elizabeth Horner (Nathan) of Nebraska; two sons, Kevin Lowery (Amber) of Looneyville and John Lowery of Arizona; two brothers, Martin Clevenger (Linda) of Spotsylvania, VA and Michael Clevenger of Shreveport, LA; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one more on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M. ~ Friday, December 30, 2022 at Rock Alter Cemetery in Looneyville, WV with Pastor John Davis officiating.
