Phillip Edward Harris, 64, of Looneyville, WV, passed away August 15, 2026 at his home following an extended illness.

He was born April 12,1962 in Spencer, WV, a son of the late Dayton Earnest and Wilma Lee (Gibson) Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Virginia Lynn Harris and his step-father, Coy Denver Harris.

He was a former carpenter, logger, pipe line employee, coal miner and oil field worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years Debbie Lynn (Smith) Harris; sons, Johnathon Phillip Harris and Michael A. Harris; brothers, Denver C. Harris of Vandale, WV and Roger Lee Harris of Looneyville, WV.

There will be no public services at this time.
