PHILLIP WAYNE FARSON, 65, of Wayne County, passed away February 2, 2022 after a sudden illness.
He was born February 7, 1957, a son of Herman "Tater" and Mary B. Fullerton Farson of Horseneck, Pleasants County. He was Apostolic by faith and had a sense of humor. He always had a smile on his face and he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved gospel music, his dog Tiny, fishing and hunting.
Preceding him in death were his parents; infant brother Robert Farson; infant sister Anna Josephine Farson; and sisters, Carolyn Sue Farson, Rose Lee Legates, Frances Malone, and Janice Brandeberry.
Surviving is his daughter, Lillie Marie Farson of Walton, WV; brother Raymond Farson of Stonerise Nursing Home; a sibling whose whereabouts are unknown; numerous nieces and nephews; and long time friend Dorothy Maynard.
His wishes were to be cremated. Burial will be at the Malone Cemetery in Pleasants County at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be planned at a later date also.
Handling of the arrangements for Phillip Wayne Farson is being done by the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia.
