ORAL EDWARD "EDDIE" MILLER JR., 63 of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston. He was born July 2, 1954 in Leatherbark, West Virginia, a son of the late Oral Miller Sr. and Garnett Lane Miller. He formerly worked at DuPont and enjoyed fishing and camping. He attended the Gandee Chapel Church in Spencer. He is survived by his ex-wife Norma Miller; step-daughter Patricia Starcher of Spencer; five sisters, Pam Atkinson and Sherry Marks, both of Spencer, Linda (Smith) Clayhorn and Carol Blackwell of Georgia and Annette Hickman of Ravenswood, West Virginia; two brothers, Roger and Gary Miller both of Spencer; two step-grandchildren Erika Lee and Trenton Lanier; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Ammy Simonds of Spencer. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by three sisters Peggy Brunner, Brenda Withrow and Sandy Potts. Funeral services will be 1 pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME in Spencer with Pastor Roger Miller officiating. Burial will take place at the Clover Cemetery near Spencer. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday.
