OLA MAVIS CARPENTER, 94, of Elkview, West Virginia, formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Cedar Ridge Nursing Center in Sissonville, West Virginia.
She was born March 26, 1928 in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late J. Courtney and Arlie Boothe Cooper. She worked at Kellwood in Spencer until their closing.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Webb of Elkview; her son, Alan Carpenter of Spencer; grandchildren, Adam, Jason, and Dakota; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Howard "Pete" Carpenter; and her siblings, Arden and Jim Cooper and Rhea Watkins.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Little Creek/Bartlett Cemetery near Spencer with Rev. James Epling officiating.
