OCIE ARLENE HANNA, 97, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at home. She was born January 19, 1923 in Spencer, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Roy and Rosalee Nichols. She formerly worked at Goodyear Aircraft in Ohio, Super K Market and retired in 1988 from K-Mart. She enjoyed country music, dancing, road trips, and spending time with and visiting family. Ocie is survived by her children, Billy C. and Judy Rhodes of Leroy, West Virginia, Tommy Rhodes of Brunswick, Georgia, Sharon Chapman of Pink, West Virginia, and Mary and Steve Saunders of Spencer; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Rhodes and Howard Hanna; a son, Gary Rhodes; two brothers, and four sisters. Service will held at 11:00am on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Danny Whited officiating. Burial will follow in the Otto Cemetery near Spencer. Visiting is one hour prior to the service a the funeral home.
