Nathaniel Looney of Kenna, 73, of Kenna, WV passed away June 9, 2026 at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, WV.
He was born March 19, 1953 in Belle, West Virginia and was the son of the late James M. Looney and Aileen Cummings Looney.

He was retired from the Kanawha County Board of Education. He loved his animals. He enjoyed raising horses, cattle and buffalo. He collected antique cars as a hobby.

Left behind to cherish his memory are two brothers James "Mike" (Joyce) Looney of Harmony, WV; Daniel H. Looney (Karen) of Gandeeville, WV; one sister Lystiann Looney of Charleston, WV; two nieces and three nephews.

Per Nathaniel's request he will be cremated. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Cummings Cemetery on Long Ridge, Saturday June 20th at 2pm. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home and Monument Company is honored to serve the Looney Family.
