MYRL ETHEL BAILEY, 96, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at home.
She was born February 14, 1928 in Clay County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Herman and Chessie Mullens Nelson.  She was a beautician and was the former owner of Myrl's Beauty and Fabric Shop.
Myrl is survived by her son, Terry G. (Gwinna) Bailey of Spencer; sister, Nancy Lambey of Wilmington, North Carolina; brother, Jerry Nelson of Dundun, West Virginia; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bailey; a son, Jerry Bailey, and seven brothers and sisters.
A service will be held an 12:00 noon on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Danny Whited officiating.  Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery.  Visiting will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
