MILDRED "MARIE" HARRIS SAMPSON ISAAC, 81, of Ravenswood, West Virginia died July 6, 2019 at Ravenswood Village after a long illness. She was born July 20, 1937 in Roane County, West Virginia a daughter of the late William Harold Harris and Hattie Long Harris. She was a homemaker and was a Christian woman, Baptist by faith, and loved the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Isaac; one brother, Larry Harris; and one sister, Shirley Sampson. Marie is survived by her children, Rick Sampson of Palestine, West Virginia, Robert and Deanna Sampson of Spencer, Danny Sampson, also of Spencer, Betty Jo Shamblin of Charleston, West Virginia, and Tim and Barbara Sampson of Ravenswood. Also surviving her are an ex-daughter-in-law, Judy Sampson of Spencer; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Dickerson and Delores Stockner, both of Spencer; and three brothers, Donald Harris of Richmond, Virginia, and Charles and Junior Harris, both of Spencer. Service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Jeff Keffer officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
