Melvin Curtis Jones, 75, of Spencer passed away March 12, 2021 at Roane General Hospital. He was born May 26, 1945 near Walton, WV and was the son of the late Donald and Ethel Taylor Jones. Melvin was a lifelong farmer and had spent his later years as a resident of Westbrook.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Margie West, Betty Marrs, Wanda Nichols, John Jones, David Jones, and Mary Siers.

Left behind to cherish his memory are two sisters, Mildred Lane of Ravenswood and Marilyn Cuppet of Huntington; a nephew David Jones (Jane) of Hurricane; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Melvin will be interred with his parents at Looney Cemetery near Walton, WV and there will be no services at this time.
