MARY IMOGENE NICHOLS, 93, of Otto, West Virginia died December 17, 2017 at the Miletree Center in Spencer, West Virginia. She was born June 3, 1924 in Otto a daughter of the late Alfred Dewey and Gracie A. Boggs Rhodes. She was retired from Kellwood with several years of service, was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Her church was her life as she was a long-time member of the Otto Advent Christian Church. She is survived by two sons, Delmar P. and Shirley Rhodes of Gay, West Virginia and Jim and Vikki Nichols of Evans, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Jeramy Matthew Nichols, Allison Watkins, Steven Rhodes and Jeffery Rhodes; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Additional precedents include her husband, Ronald Maxwell Nichols in 2002; a sister, Alice May Deems; and three brothers, Elmer C., Delbert R., and Eldon Harold Rhodes. Service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer with Rev. Damon Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
