MARY ERNESTINE KEE, 89, of Gandeeville, West Virginia died June 12, 2018 at the Miletree Center in Spencer, West Virginia after an extended illness. She was born September 12, 1928 in Walton, West Virginia a daughter of the late Joseph Dexter and Gracie Brisendine Phillips. She worked at Kellwood for many years, was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church and volunteered as a foster grandparent with Gandeeville Head Start. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Boyd Hudkins; second husband, Harry Kee; a daughter, Debra Acevedo; and a sister, Blanche Raines. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Hutchison of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Pamela Jimenez of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son, Phillip Kee of Gandeeville; three siblings, Wanda Kiser of Parkersburg, Chessie Scott of Nashville, Tennessee and Dr. Perry Phillips of Morgantown, West Virginia; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mary's service will be at 11:00am Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Gandeeville Cemetery.
