MARY LOU WESTFALL GREATHOUSE, 87, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on February 20, 2020 at Ravenswood Care Center in Ravenswood, West Virginia. She was born July 29, 1932 in Roane County, a daughter of the late Harley and Mary Young Westfall. She was a former bookkeeper for Greathouse Sanitation, a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Pam (Colin) Kelley, Patricia "Pat" (John) Dougherty, and Jimmie "Jay" (Donna) Greathouse, all of Spencer; grandchildren, Katrina (Russell) Williams of Spencer, Heather (Mike) Johnson of Cottageville, Heidi (Jason) Alvis of Spencer, and Benjamin, Elizabeth, and Jacob Greathouse, all of Spencer; and great-grandchildren, Donovan Williams of Spencer and Luke and Levi Johnson of Cottageville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jimmie Greathouse; an infant son; and a granddaughter, Paula Jean Kelley. Service will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private burial will be at the Greathouse Family Cemetery near Spencer.
