MARY B. FOSTER FRESHOUR, 69, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at home. She was born September 23, 1946 in Spencer, a daughter of the late Kelsey L. and Lottie K. Nichols Cottrell. She was a former health services worker at the Spencer State Hospital, the VOCA & FRMS Corps in Beckley, West Virginia, and the DHS in Warren, Pennsylvania. She is survived by two daughters, Maria Lynn and Tom White and Mary E. and Billy Freeland; a son, Timothy Gene Foster and Ann Chapman; a third daughter, Terri Blosser; two sisters, Orva Cottrell and Geraldine Hall; a brother, Monzell Cottrell; and five grandchildren, Drew, Clifford, Jadah, B.J., and Josh; and three great-grandchildren, Olen, Corbin, and one on the way, Rylee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death a sister, Chloris; and two brothers, Larry and Robert. Service will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery. Visiting is two hours prior to the service on Sunday.
