Mary Hazel Collins, 92, of Reedy, WV passed away December 13, 2022 at Elizabeth Care Center in Elizabeth, WV.

She was born March 9, 1930 near Harmony, WV and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Dollie Jean Cobb Hersman.

Hazel was a homemaker and cook. She enjoyed gardening, canning, hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor walks, quilting, singing and working on puzzles with her husband of 50 years, "Shorty" who she married in 1961.

She is survived by one sister, Berdiehl Smith (Harold) of Harmony, WV; and special caregiver, Carroll Martin of Reedy; many special friends; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alvin "Shorty" Collins; son, David Collins; and thirteen brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Good Hope Cemetery near Reedy, WV.
