MARIE A. WHYTSELL, 83, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away on August 3, 2018 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was born December 24, 1934 in Albany, New York, a daughter of Joseph and Freda Kegley Albanese. She was a homemaker. Marie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tami Whytsell of Ashland, Ohio; three sisters, Rose of Grantsville, Sally of New York and Beverly of Alabama; four gransdchildren, Jessica Hitchinson of Wooster, Ohio, Jeremy Whytsell, Tiffany Whytsell, and Tyson Krebs, all of Ashland; and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Hutchinson of Wooster and Addison Whytsell of Ashland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Whytsell; and brothers, Frederick and Tony. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia, with Pastor Rick Metheney officiating. Burial will follow in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Friends and family will start gathering at the funeral home at 10:30am.
