Margaret "Peggy" Ruth Starcher, 75, of Spencer, WV passed away January 20, 2024 at Mon Health in Morgantown, WV.

She was born November 29, 1948 in Kanawha County, WV and is the daughter of the late Forrest Ruth and Orland "Butch" Sharp.

Peggy was a paramedic for Jackson and Roane County EMS. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and attended church at Parchment Valley in Ripley, WV.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her four children, Angie Starcher of Spencer, Stephen Paul Starcher of Spencer, James Leon Starcher of Mechanicsville, VA, Robert Noel Starcher (Veronica) of Ripley, WV; grandchildren, Caleb Starcher (Brook) of Parkersburg, WV, Zachary Starcher of Spencer, Tristan and Savera Starcher both of Mechanicsville, VA, Alexander, Kaitlyn, Mary, Emily, James, Jamiere and Malazja Starcher all of Ripley, WV; siblings, Alvin Paul Collins, II of Ripley and Florence Darlene Hughes (Richard) of Spencer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Leon Starcher; and daughter-in-law, Carole Starcher.

A memorial will be Saturday, June 8, 2024 ~ 11:00 A.M. at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer.
