Margaret (Margie) L. Parsons, 90, of Reedy, WV, passed away on September 5, 2026, at Roane General Hospital.

She was born May 9, 1936, in Liverpool, WV, and is the daughter of the late Gale and Falllie Eagle.

Margie graduated from Ripley High School in 1954 and worked at the sweater factory in Spencer and as a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning, and puzzles.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her special niece, Debbie Caldon of Leroy, WV; two special great-nieces, Miranda Hamilton (Robbie) of Leroy, WV, and Carly Brohard (Matt) of Spencer, WV; and many other nieces and nephews. She was blessed with treasured friends, Don and Tammy Roberts, and many other neighbors and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Parsons, of 64 years; her siblings, Charles Eagle, Betty Conant, Lois Ford, and Ray Eagle. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Comer of Sissonville, WV.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Taylor Vandale Funeral Home and Monument Company, with Minister Denzil Ray officiating. Public visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the service. Burial will follow the service at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Roane County, WV.
