Margaret Gertrude Hopkins, 93, of Leroy, WV passed away March 20, 2022 at Roane General Hospital.

She was born August 3, 1928 in Belgrove, WV and was the daughter of the late Amos Brady and Edith Ann Stalnaker Westfall.

Gertrude had worked at Kellwood Co. and was a cook in several county schools. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her children, Shirley Hildreth (James) and Charlotte Fetty (Jeff) both of Spencer and Jody Hopkins (Nicole) of Williamstown, WV; two sisters, Eurada Skeen of Ripley and Iris Vinita Hoover of Ritchie County, WV; one brother, Amos Glenn of Elyria, OH; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hopkins and several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be 1:00 P.M.~Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Roane County, WV with Pastor Larry Jones officiating.
