LOIS M. BAILES JETT, 86, of Spencer, WV passed away on January 29, 2024 at Miletree Center in Spencer.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Jett of Mississippi and Michael Jett of North Carolina; one daughter, Lynn Orner of Spencer; one grandchild, Christy Carpenter of Portsmouth, Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Christopher Carpenter of Spencer and Taylor Carpenter of Williamsburg, Virginia; and one great-great-granddaughter, Jordyn Shaw of Williamsburg.  Also two brothers-in-law, Carroll Jett of Parkersburg and Homer Dougherty of Looneyville, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beulah Bailes; her husband of 65 years, Roland Jett; three brothers, Buddy, John, and Butch Bailes; and three sisters, Annabelle Dougherty, Judy Goins, and Jane Rupe.
Per her wishes she will be cremated and a service held at a later date.
Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
