Loetta Louise Ritchie, 82, of Spencer, WV passed away August 21, 2022 at her residence.

She was born July 18, 1940 in Wheeling, WV and was the daughter of the late Robert Floyd and Gertrude Horn Lovejoy.

Loetta retired after 24 years of service, on December 31, 2011 from Cummins Cumberland, Inc. in Charleston, WV as an executive secretary; over the years she had many different careers such as bank teller, computer clerk, a proof operator where she processed and balanced all computer input, owned and operated "Cottonwood Crafts: ceramics/craft shop, central file clerk, switchboard operator and bookkeeper.  Loetta was an active member of the United Methodist Church; and enjoyed church activities, interior decorating and design, furniture restoration and reading.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her children, Pamela Ritchie of Spencer and Joel Ritchie of Winchester, VA; one brother, John Lovejoy of Wheeling, WV; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lance Ritchie; and siblings, Robert Floyd Lovejoy, Jr. and Evalena Mae Lovejoy Dayton.

Services will 2:00 p.m. ~ Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, WV with Reverend Loretta Isaiah officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's and Tyrand Cooperative Ministries in Mill Creek, WV in honor of Loetta.
