Linda Kay Dorsey, 73, of Spencer, WV passed away August 22, 2022 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV.

She was born July 27, 1949 in Spencer, WV and was the daughter of the later Virgil and Ruby Mae Walker Reynolds.

Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds and taking care of her grandbabies.

Left behind to cherish her memory, are her seven children, Loretta Welch, Larry Dean Cottrell (Ellen), Brenda Fauber (Rick Sampson) all of Harmony, WV, Patricia Neff of Clay County, WV, Julia Summers (Dean) of Orma, WV, William Ralph Cottrell of Spencer, WV and Tracy Dorsey Chapman (Steve) of Charleston, WV; two sisters, Sherri Nichols (Harold) and Rebecca Waters (Dick) both of Spencer, WV; brother, Robert Reynolds (Sue) of Walton, WV; 23 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Dorsey; and six siblings, Helen Jones, Virgil Leon Reynolds, Peggy Sue Cottrell, Alice McDonough, Raymond Reynolds and an infant brother.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. ~ Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, WV. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at the Dorsey Family Cemetery in Clay County, WV.
