LILLIAN M. HOKE, 78, of Leroy, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Charleston Area Medical Center's General Division from a sudden illness. Lillian was born March 21, 1942 in Hollywood, West Virginia a daughter of the late Cassius and Barbara Hoke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Waddell. She is survived by a long-time special companion, Junior Mitchell with whom she made her home. Also surviving are siblings, Vernie (Steve) Ramsey, Vinne (Wayne) Childers, Edna (Roger) Johnson, Tina (Ralph) Weikel, Alma (Lyndon) Hoke, Lawrence (Joyce) Hoke, Lena Walton, Alvin Hoke, and Wanda Hoke. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Leroy with Rev. Robert "Bob" Keen officiating. Social distancing per the CDC should be adhered to at the cemetery. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.
