LARRY ALLEN O"BRIEN, 77, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia. He was born October 29, 1942 in Spencer, a son of the late Romie George O'Brien and Clara Belle Bullis O'Brien. He was a former crane operator for BMX Technologies in Barberton, Ohio and was a military veteran. He is survived by his sisters, Ethel O'Brien of Cape Coral, Florida, Nancy Butler of Uniontown, Ohio, Paulette Aud of Baltimore, Maryland, Gloria Lively of Fayetteville, West Virginia, and Tresa Mitchell of Spencer; his brothers, Mike O'Brien of Spencer and Paul and Dean O'Brien, both of Reedy, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia, and his brothers, Roger "Jake", Stanley, Benny, Earl, Romie, Jr., Robert, Ronnie, and Randall. Service will be at 1:00pm on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Larry's nephew, Colin Mitchell, speaking. Burial will follow in the Simmons Cemetery near Spencer. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
