Larry  Guy  Copen, 61, of Spencer, passed away April 21, 2026 at his residence.

Larry was born June 16, 1964 in Cleveland Ohio and was the son of the late Obie Copen and Carol Taylor Copen.

Larry was a 1982 graduate of Spencer High School.  He was a truck driver for Starweld. He  enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as well as  golfing and fishing, making decorative items from woodcrafting, and attending the Boggs Fork Community Church.

Left behind to cherish his memory, are his wife Frances Baker Copen of Spencer,one son; Shane Copen of Gandeeville, two daughters; Amber Schoolcraft and her wife Kendra of Gandeeville, and Tiffany Copen of Spencer, and one brother Dan Copen and his wife Rhonda of LeRoy; three very special grandchildren; Cameron, Charlee, and Harley; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will announce a Service of Remembrance date and time to be held in the future.
