JON B. TIMMONS, 87, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025 unexpectedly at his residence.
He was born October 18, 1937 in Ross County, Ohio, a son of the late John and Jeanne C. Baucus Timmons.  Jon was a United States Marine Corps veteran and was retired from CSX Railroad where he had worked as an engineer.  He enjoyed trap shooting and golfing.
Jon is survived by his wife Mary F. Knapp Timmons who he married on April 14, 1980; a sister, Sharon Boyce; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Gary Timmons.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, January 31,2025 from 12:00-1:00pm at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home,in Spencer WV. There will be no funeral or graveside services.
