JERROLD ERWIN "JERRY" WATSON, 71, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at home.
He was born February 21, 1950 in Barboursville, West Virginia, a son of the late Glendel E. and Wilda Jean Bowling Watson. Jerry was retired from Consumers Gas after 43 years of service, was a graduate of Spencer High School and enjoyed WVU football and Roane County High School sports. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and most importantly a very special and wonderful uncle.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty Hickman Watson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Watson.
A service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Russell Stump officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery near Reedy, West Virginia. Visiting will be two hours prior to the service.
