JANICE KAY RUNNION passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 63 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia, after battling a long illness. Janice was born in Charles City, Iowa on June 6, 1953 to Dorothy Chambers Bill and the late Harvey Bill. She graduated from Riceville, Iowa in 1972 and was united in marriage to Virgil Runnion on November 23, 1973 at the Pleasant Grove Church near Reedy, West Virginia. She was a Christian and faithfully attended church at Pleasant Grove and was employed at Kellwood Company in Spencer, West Virginia for 20 years. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Virgil Runnion of Spencer; three children, Roy and Douglas Runnion and Angel Johnson; six grandchildren, Bradley, Haley, Carly, Dakota, Logan, and Austin; seven sisters, Nancy, Judy, Mary, Vickie, Tammy, Sandy, and Linda; and four brothers, Larry, Kenny, Roy, and Russell. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jesse, and Clayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Pleasant Grove Church with Pastor John Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visiting will start at 1:30 before the service. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
