Janet Rose Goodwin, 81, of Spencer, passed away September 13, 2021 at Roane General Hospital in Spencer, WV.

She was born April 16, 1940 in Charleston, WV and was the daughter of the late Charles and Odal Litton.

Janet was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, country music and spending time with her family and friends.

Left behind to cherish her memory, is her children, Sandra Harrison (Mark) of Goldtown, WV, Susan Thaxton of Sissonville, WV, Denise Combs (Clark) of Putnam County, WV, Willard Goodwin (Sherrie) of Spencer, Harley L. Goodwin Jr. (Charlene) of Sissonville, WV; two sisters, Cheryl Ashby (David) of Gay, WV and Connie Hundley (Roger) of Charleston, WV; two brothers, Richard Litton (Mary) and Randy Litton both of Charleston, WV; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Harley L. Goodwin; daughter, Debra Goodwin; two sons-in-law, Gill Thaxton and Joe Harrison; and four siblings, Bonnie Stoner, Delores Baldwin, Kenneth Litton and Carolyn Cox.

There will be no public service at this time. Private family burial will take place at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Roane County, WV.
