JAMES PAUL "JIM" MILLER, 78, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia. He was born May 8, 1938 at Plymouth, West Virginia, a son of the late Joseph C. and Georgia Cook Miller. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood, West Virginia and attended the Steer Creek Church of Christ in Gilmer County. Jim is survived by his wife, Terri McAbee Miller; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Tracy Miller of Spencer; a sister, Becky Hawley; two brothers, John and Gary Miller; and two grandchildren, Brett and Brayden Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brett Arthur Miller and eight brothers and sisters. Service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, with Preacher Gene Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visiting will be two hours prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Steer Creek Church of Christ or Hubbard Hospice House.
